Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. Cancelling or rescheduling before work starts.
You may cancel or reschedule your project free of charge up to 5 working days before the agreed project start date. If you cancel or reschedule within 5 working days of the start date, a 50% mobilisation fee applies, calculated on the price of the package ordered.
2. Once work has begun.
Once discovery and research have begun on your project, the deposit taken at checkout is non-refundable, and any work already delivered (drafts, briefs, completed pages or emails) is billable in full.
3. Revisions.
Two revision rounds are included in every package, as stated on the package itself. Revisions beyond that are available as the "Additional revision round" add-on (€180 flat) and are not covered by this refund policy.
4. Monthly retainer.
The Monthly Copy Retainer (Column, Feature and Masthead) is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice, in writing, to support@copywritingbylisa.com. There is no annual lock-in. Work already delivered or in progress within a notice period is billable in full. This clause covers cancelling the retainer entirely; for how the monthly scope itself adjusts if your usage consistently differs from your tier, see the Terms of Sale §14.
5. Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers).
If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of placing it, without giving a reason, under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation). To exercise this right, contact support@copywritingbylisa.com within the 14-day period.
Important — this right is waived if you ask work to start immediately. Because copywriting is a service that we begin performing quickly (to meet the turnaround stated on your package), the checkout process asks you to expressly request that we begin work before the 14-day period ends, and to acknowledge that doing so waives your right of withdrawal once the project has started, in accordance with Articles L221-25 and L221-28 of the Code de la consommation. If you do not make this request, we will not begin work until the 14-day period has passed. If you withdraw before work has begun, you receive a full refund; if work has begun with your express agreement, Sections 1–2 above apply instead.
6. How refunds are issued.
Where a refund is due under this policy, it is issued to the original payment method within 14 days of us accepting the refund request. This site's checkout currently runs on simulated payments (see Terms of Sale §5): no live charge is taken today, so no live refund is processed either. Once real payment processing is enabled, refunds continue to follow this same 14-day timeline, to the original payment method.
